I have two Roku products a TCL 4K TV, as well a Roku ultra, both of which in the last several months have moved all channels around, to include peripheral System icon's. All this started happening around a 7-30-24 software release. Any thoughts.?
Some guinea pigs are getting a new "App order" setting under Settings->Home Screen. See if you have it and set it to "Manual" if you do. Some have reported that setting it to "Manual" doesn't stick and it reverts to "Automatic".
Thanks renojim!
And f!Ck you roku not a helpful feature
I just responded to a survey Roku sent me about this "feature". I'd love to see the face of the guy at Roku when he reads my responses. 😁
I think someone is angry. hehe
This is happening with my Ultra as well. I set it to Manual and a check mark sits on that field. I move away from it and back and it is set back to Automatic. And, automatic mode seems to suspiciously move channels I rarely use up to the top of the list, or some of the channels I would expect have the propensity for more "control" over your viewing habits than others. This started in the past few months and it needs to be resolved before I toss out Roku altogether and go to some other streaming options, since there are many now to choose from.
