Roku channel "not compatible" msg on brand-new Hisense 50QD5N

Just bought a Hisense 50QD5N (Google tv platform) - system and apps are all updated. If I try to watch anything on the Roku Channel it gives me the message "Your device is not compatible with this version." Also, if I do an app search for Roku, nothing is found. Location is USA. Hope someone can help.
