We appreciate your inquiry regarding the Apple TV app on your Roku device, and we would be glad to assist. We would recommend updating your Roku TV for the Apple TV to be fully supported. Kindly refer to the instructions below:

Follow the instructions below to manually check for software and app updates.

1. Press Home on your Roku remote
2. Scroll and select Settings
3. Select System
4. Select Software update
5. Select Check Now to manually check for updates

• Tip: The System update screen displays the current software and build version, along with the date and time of the latest update.

If there is new software available or there are updates for your apps, then your Roku device will download and install them automatically and once completed, your device will reboot.

Also does not work on my Sharp Roku tv. Only option available is “Apple TV+ screeners”.. very annoying… and yes it’s updated… and yes we know how to search for apps…

We would like to inform you that Apple TV Plus can be accessed on Roku devices via the Apple TV app. To find Apple TV Plus, simply search for the Apple TV app instead of looking for Apple TV Plus directly. This will allow you to enjoy all the content available on Apple TV Plus through the Apple TV app on your Roku.

This doesn't work. My TV cannot access the Apple TV+ app either.  Only the screeners app.  Your fixes don't work

No, there is no solution.  Roku has decided not to support older models.  So my Roku tv doesn't get the Apple+ app, but my Roku device (newer) gets the app.

It stinks.

This is not Roku being unsupportive. Apple is responsible for the AppleTV app on Roku devices, and they have sole control over what devices it's permitted on.
