this is similar to the topic of plex automatically kicking back to home screen but this one is slightly different. on 5/27/24 everything with the plex app worked. have 6 user accounts setup with one admin account. everyone able to use app on tcl roku tv with no issues with their own account. on 5/28/24 only admin account would load and play content. all user accounts would let them input their pin and as soon as it was entered tv would automatically kick back to home screen. tried deleting app and reinstalling, made sure tv and server were updated. problem still exists. all user profiles work as expected on all other devices whether it be phone, tablet, smart tv or firestick so i know it isn't a server issue. isolated to this tv only. anyone else come across this problem or have a fix? just mind boggling that only the admin account works on the app and not the user accounts when every thing was fine 2 days ago.

It's 4 months since this post and this week I noticed that my Plex opens to all users and not admin account like it used to. Not that the extra click is difficult but I liked it when it would open to my admin user home page. Note: this only happens on my computer, not on Roku or other smart TVs. It's annoying.

I'm having the identical problem here and it is only on the Roku app. I can access Plex as normal through every other device. Only the Roku app is acting up. Is there any chance of this getting this looked into? Thank you for your time.

In addition to what our Community Expert provided above, it would be highly recommended that you coordinate this matter with the service providers themselves, as Roku doesn't manage channel authentication or login issues.
It's also worth noting that most content, apps, or channels on the Roku streaming platform are provided and maintained independently by the channel provider.

Problem is fixed. I found instructions on how to do a soft reset on my TV and that cleared the app up. Running good now. Thank you for getting back to me.
