1-4-2023. I am now having the same issue as the others in this thread. I have restarted my Roku device twice, I have removed Britbox, restarted my Roku and then reinstalled Britbox. It starts to open the channel then goes back to the main menu.
I confirmed that I can log onto Britbox on my laptop.
What else can I do?

Does the issue only occur on BritBox or across other channels installed on your Roku device?
Have you tried removing the affected channel BritBox and then re-install again? If not, we suggest starting there. In some cases, removing the affected channel and then re-installing it may help. Restart your device before re-adding the channel back in to ensure the process is successful. We recommend doing this through the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If there is no Power submenu, proceed to the next step.) > System restart.

How pathetic that it's been 3 months and no working fix? How about not charging for it on the roku channel sinceI have 5 more months on my annual sub I CAN'T USE?

Can you please clarify the issue you are experiencing? Are you trying to access britbox through The Roku Channel or are you trying to access it through the channel directly? What are the steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing and what is happening on the screen when the issue occurs?

Like everyone else 3 of my 4 Rokus crash at Britbox startup back to the Britbox channel screen (not Roku) All but the one working stick have been updated/R R-power /R Britbox channel. The loading circle goes around 2-3 times then black screen for a second back to channel screen. I can't remove the forced (waste of channel space) "Britbox on Roku" to see if it's borking it up.
BTW Why am I forced to have a channel I don't need or use in my line up?

Have you already tried to remove the channel, restart the Roku device, then add the channel back again, specifically in that order to see if the issue persists?

This just happened to me last week. I’m so glad I found this thread because I thought I was losing my wits. I’ve tried all of the suggestions and it’s still crashing on two different Roku devices.
I’ve checked for updates.
I deleted the app. Reinstalled the app. I even took the batteries out of the remotes and unplugged both Rokus for 15 minutes. Still not working. It’s very unnerving to discover that this is a chronic and ongoing issue.
