Since this issue only happens to a specific TV, it might be better to contact your Roku TV manufacturer's support and inquire further about this issue. Each TV manufacturer provides direct support for their TV models. Try to reach out to them once again for guidelines and a workaround.

I spent hours with TCL and nothing. They say it's Roku, and Roku says it's TCL. As usual the customer is caught in the middle. No accountability at all by either company. As you can see by this post there are multiple people having the same problem.

No. I've tried many different Usb drives and they all do it. Too bad, because it's a really good feature.
crazy because my older 6 series has no issues and neither did my 4. too bad they can't figure it out.
