Recently, the Roku YouTube app updated and I hate the new format.
I have a Roku Premiere+ device
Before, when I selected the video, the Video title, views, etc displayed top left screen
The Channel link, CC, Thumbs up, etc was lower left
Now the Title is at bottom right and it cuts off characters on videos that have longer Titles.
Any way to go back to the old format?
Thanks
Content and format is determined by YouTube. Roku just passes it on through to you as received from YouTube.
YouTube is who you need to ask about this.

If you pause the Youtube video, then select that information box (using up arrow to highlight and press OK), and then press OK again, a full description box will appear on the right with the full details.
Yes, this new feature is not as desireable as the previous, but as @makaiguy indicated, this change was made by the Youtube developers. I really don't know why Youtube keeps removing/hiding the publication date of videos in their Searches.
Makes it a bit difficult to find the latest videos from content creators. Only workaround is going to each creator's home channel (and its not much better there either).
I have a few other YouTube viewing options
I always used my Roku for viewing Youtube and other channels like Amazon Prime, Netflix
Forget about mobile devices. They are small toys compared to my desktop PC's
And I don't to casting
My Samsung TV has apps, but I never use them
The YouTube app is ok on the Samsung, but I liked the Roku app better (until recently)
I have a Xbox series X and it has the edge browser and a Youtube app
The Edge browser is the best so far because I have a wireless keyboard attached to it
I can use a mouse and keyboard just like sitting in front of a desktop PC
So viewing on a browser is better for me
The Xbox Youtube app on the Xbox is ok, but the keyboard mouse does not work
You have to use arrow keys on the keyboard to get around
I will probably stop using my Roku for Youtube viewing.
Not sure if I even need a Roku now that I have all these other viewing options
Thanks for the replies
