It took me a minute to connect to the TV. I had to go to Connect a device- Google.

It's definitely not as simple as just following the on-screen instructions. The way it reads, you should be able to go to the link and see the box for the code immediately. I had to do a deep dive after going to the link to finally have the option to enter a code
