YouTube TV App no longer accessible
II am unable to load my YouTube TV app and receive a message that there isn't enough space to install YouTube TV. However, I already have it installed and have been watching it for years. I'm instructed to remove apps to free up space. I have removed a number of apps but am still unable to load YouTube TV. I did not add any Apps, so this is strange. I have a second TV that I recently purchased and where I can still access my YouTube TV subscription. It is tied to the TV where ROKU is installed. I have had the new TV for over a month and never had a problem with the original TV.

Re: YouTube TV App no longer accessible
I had thought that Google discontinued the TV app and merged its functions into the standard YouTube app. But I see it's still in the Roku Channel Store. You might check the regular YouTube app and see if TV is still available within it.
If you subscribe to a service (such as YouTube TV) through Roku, that access it tied to your Roku user account, not a single device. So you should be able to access it on any Roku that is linked to the same account used to subscribe. If you subscribe directly with the provider (YouTube TV) then it should work on any device, Roku or otherwise.

Re: YouTube TV App no longer accessible
@Brussels @atc98092 The YouTube TV app was removed from Roku early in 2021 because of a dispute between google and Roku, however it was returned in December of 2021. I use YouTube TV as my go to streaming provider and have it installed on two Roku TVs, two Roku streaming stick 4k, and a Roku Express 4k+ in addition to several other non Roku streaming devices. I see that you can still access YouTube TV through the YouTube app but I suspect that will not solve your problem. Try restarting the Roku device that is giving you problems. If that does not work as a last resort do a factory reset of the Roku device. .

Re: YouTube TV App no longer accessible
That often is a symptom of a corrupted memory cache. This can generally be cleared up by restarting the Roku.
Depending on your Roku model you'll find the "System restart" option under "Settings > System > Power", or on models without a Power option, under "Settings > System".
Note: If you have a Roku TV with "Fast TV start" enabled, turning the TV off and back on just puts it into and out of a standby state and does NOT give you a complete restart. Use the menu option above.
If a restart doesn't do it, or if you don't have sufficient control with the remote to navigate the Roku menus, you can also restart by pulling the power plug to the Roku for a few seconds then plugging it back in and waiting for it to restart.

Roku freezes on YouTube channel
I mostly use the Roku for YouTube. If I watch for a while, switch off the TV and then come back later, the Roku fires up, but is frozen on either the page or to a blank screen. Happens daily, but not every time. Unplugging the Roku fixes it when it powers back up. I've reset everything, but the problem persists.

YouTube tv and YouTube Channel were removed. When I search in the app, they are there and select open and the following message appears “channel cannot be added”. It was there 2 hours ago

Youtube and youtube tv apps won't launch
Youtube and youtube tv apps won't launch. I tried removing them, restarting then readding them and even did a factory reset on the tv. Neither app will launch. It was working fine then completely disappeared from my app list.

YouTube wont Download or Launch
So, YouTube randomly disappeared in the middle of use. I went to reinstall it. It came back, but wouldn't open. Started my normal troubleshooting.... Tested internet connectivity, Excellent. Checked App AND TV for software update, both up to date. Disconnected and reconnected internet. Hard rebooted.... The App again disappeared. This time, it said it could not be installed. It's even disappeared from other Roku devices in my house as well.
