I'm having the same problem I did the factory reset and still cannot get any results on the home screen search page
Hang in there. Roku's engineers are working on it and said they'd have an update by the end of the day.
I just purchased three Express 4K+ units to stream Xfinity to my extra TV's. I installed one yesterday and went to add channel and was able to add Xfinity stream with no issue. Installed the second one today and when I went to add channel just like I did yesterday, when I start typing in Xfinity, it says there are no search results. These are identical players, and I went through activation the same.
Did you ever get your problem fixed? And if so how?

Same issue here. I did a restart and software update and still nothing. I type in one letter and "No search results. Try modifying your entry, or try looking for a different part of its title" comes up.
I did a factory reset for nothing it looks like. Grrrr.
