Done exactly that several times, and it makes absolutely no difference. Also tried contacting Rumble, and they only suggested slowing the video speed, which still doesn't help.

Have you already tried contacting the channel provider to see what insight they can provide? Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
