On the channel screen, we see all our channels but Roku will only go to the Hulu image. When we click on that it takes us to Roku Rewind. Until yesterday we could access all our channels. It's not a problem with the remote which we checked.
I'm not sure if I'm understanding you. Are you saying that you are at the Roku home screen (such as after pressing the Home button on the remote) and you can see a normal home screen with, for example: Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount +, Tubi, The Roku Channel, etc. But when you use the remote arrow keys, you can't move the highlight to any of those channels, but only to Hulu? And then if you press OK, with the highlight on Hulu, you get something that is not Hulu?
I am havibg the same issue. I can navigate up & down on the side menu but when you try to move right to select an app it will not select, automatically goes to ad.
Have replaced batteries, restarted app, repaired remote, even trued different remote.
I have the 4100 model
We just purchased a brand new Roku stick. Upon initial setup, the remote works just fine going up and down the menu options. And if I keep hitting the right arrow, it'll bring me to the advertisement and allow me to click the advertisement. However, Its "box" freezes over the top left app. And refuses to go to any other apps until you reach the advertisement on the right side. I cannot select any of the apps in the menu. I've used the phone remote and the remote that came with it. I've also done a complete factory reset. I've tried changing themes. I can play something like YouTube if I open the app on my phone and then broadcast to the Roku. However, it will never let me select the YouTube app from the Roku device itself.

As states in original thread I have the 4100 series stick. Problem originally occured Sat 12/7. I have performed all rebooting & re-pairing options, even new remote.
In regards to a image/video its the home screen, remote skips from menu to watch free ad on far right, you are not to choose any of the apps.
Update: The ability to make app selections started working again after coming out of screensaver mode later in the day. :shrug:
I’m experiencing the same issue on my 3810RW Roku Streaming Stick+.
Left main menu works fine but using the arrow pad once right to select apps is not selecting any apps and makes a donk invalid sound. I can arrow right to the advert panel and that works fine.
This started today, Friday, Dec 13.
It’s functioned great for over a year.
checked for update, rebooted, recharged the remote. No change. The device is virtually useless in this state.
@Grabercars, my Roku device started doing this when they added something about "Food" to the left menu. Hiding it under Settings->Home Screen restored normal operation. If something recently appeared on your menu, try hiding it (or everything that can be hidden).
Thank you for the suggestion, but hid everything we could and it's still not scrolling on the right except to jump to the Roku channel, which will open. None of the subscriptions we have directly with streaming services will open on this device.

If that doesn't work, another workaround I used was just use the search feature. You can get into your apps that way. Type the first letter of an app in search, for instance Y, and any installed apps starting with Y show up first in the list of results. Not ideal, but better than not being able to use it at all.
