My ROKU streaming device all of a sudden will not let me access apps...PRIME, etc. I also cannot access "system reset" or any other solution given when I Google the issue. Happened all of a sudden tonite. Tried unplugging Roku device and wireless modem.

My Roku device all of a sudden defaulted to the Roku channel when turned on. Furthermore, it would not allow me to access other apps such as Youtube, Prime, Tubi...etc.
I was unable to do a restart or network connection reset as I could not access "Settings" on the device. I could go to Settings but could not maneuver through the settings via the remote control.
In the end, I had to go to my online ROKU account and delete the streaming device completely and then reinstall it again from scratch. It now works correctly again but was quite frustrating.
