I have paramount+ and am 74 years old I want to watch the new season of Yellowstone tonight and want to know if Paramount+ has a live cbs channel so I can watch it and how do I do it?
Note that from what I've read, tonight's CBS showing of Yellowstone is a teaser/preview of this episode only, with the remaining series 5 episodes premiering only on the original Paramount cable/satellite channel.
When Yellowstone was first released it was on Paramount but streaming rights were assigned to Peacock (this was before Paramount+ existed). So Peacock will get first rights to stream season 5, some time after Paramount has run (and maybe rerun) it on their cable channel. Sometime after that agreement has been satisfied it will join the first 4 seasons already on Paramount+.
So unless Paramount changes its mind and runs the remaining episodes on CBS, you'll either have to wait several months, or subscribe to a service that carries Paramount's cable channel.
It depends on your subscription level. In their current offerings, the "essential" plan does not include your local CBS station. The Paramount+ with Showtime plan does include it.
