Roku Channel will not play

me too. Just bought roku stick and the roku channel wont play. This is the reason I bbought it so it goes back and ROKU can suck it

We understand that you are unable to stream the Roku Channel. We're happy to help. We would recommend the basic troubleshooting sequence below:
 
  1. Remove the channel: navigate to your Home screen, move to the right, highlight the app, press Star*, then select Remove channel
  2. Perform a system reboot: navigate to your Home, select Settings > System > Power (skip if unavailable) > System restart
  3. Re-install the channel: navigate to your Home, scroll and select Store, look for the app, then press Add channel

Done all that. Its just Roku content that is a problem. Other things like Tubi, Pluto play fine. I did what you listed SEVERAL TIMES. No Roku Channel.

I have the same problem with the roku channel not playing. I tried what you mentioned above and it is still not playing.

Before proceeding, it would be helpful if you could provide us with additional information such as follows:

  • What specific Roku streaming device model are you having this issue with?
  • Are there any error messages prompted when you attempt to access this app?
  • Were you able to access this before? 
  • Is this the only app affected by this?

In the meantime, we also suggest rebooting your router/modem to see if this helps.
