II am unable to stream from the Roku Channer or Live TV. When opening the Live TV, I get a black screen. On the Roku Channel, when I select something, the screen goes purple with the preview image in the right corner of the TV.
Everything was working a couple days ago. All other apps work just fine.
Restarting the Roku, router, and gateway does nothing to fix this. Resetting the Roku did not help.
Where are you located and are you using a VPN? Does connecting to your phone's hotspot, if possible, change anything?
I am in Illinois. No VPN. I can't connect to my phones hotspot because I am in a basement.
The only thing that has changed, which was a while ago, was a hardware firewall was installed. However, to get around that I would need to know either the domain names or IP addresses to add exclusions.
Can you disable the firewall temporarily to see if that's really the culprit?
No idea what happened, they just started working again. I didn't change anything.
