No sync adjustment on Roku Devices/TV?
So, I recently discovered on my Roku Ultra and my Roku TV that I have no subtitle sync for my plex app. I have a google tv and chromecast, which has the subtitle sync for the plex apps installed there!?
I tried updating the Roku Ultra and Roku TV with new plex apps but it says the software is up to date. I really need the subtitle sync.
I'm tempted to replace my Roku Ultra with a chromecast/Google TV device and my Roku TV is about 4 years old or so, maybe replacing that one with a Google TV instead, since I know the plex app there allows subtitle syncing, but don't want to if I don't have to.
I read somewhere there will be some significant sw changes coming to Roku devices spring 2025. Anyone have a magic ball to predict if caption syncing will be in an upgrade? Or is this a plex thing (meaning they need to modify the app to have this feature on Roku's)?

Re: No sync adjustment on Roku Devices/TV?
I never knew there was such a thing! I've spent plenty of time editing SRT files to fix the sync, but I never knew any device had such a feature (probably because I'm so entrenched with Roku devices). I'd guess Roku has little interest in such a thing since streaming your own material is merely an afterthought for them (as evidenced by the all but abandoned Roku Media Player). Their response would most likely be to fix the source.
