I got a different unhelpful response from "Manuel". If it's the same person, than he's getting the same message from all of us, and giving all of us unhelpful responses without acknowledging the issue.
Thanks for posting the reply that you got. Very frustrated that no one is taking ownership or responsibility, or even admitting that there is clearly an issue.
Hi Community users,
Thank you for reporting this issue to Roku Community!
We understand your concern that you are unable to access the NBC Sports channel due to a channel authentication issue.
These steps might help resolve the issue, we suggest that you sign out on your cable company. Remove the channel, restart the device then add the channel back again. Once the channel has been re-added, try to sign back in with their channel provider and see if they are still experiencing an issue.
If the issue still occurs, it's best to reach out to NBC Sports directly to get the channel going on your Roku. They can resolve the error you are having with the channel login.
You can reach them here: NBC Sports help support
We sincerely appreciate your patience with this issue.
Best regards,
Mary
Not to be rude, but you're obviously not looking at our posts. We've tried all these steps AND contacted NBCSports. Everyone says it's the others' fault. No one appears willing to address it. I'm also more than a little annoyed that the services I am paying for want me to do the leg work. Seriously regretting buying a Roku TV right now
@RokuMary-F As we have said previously in this thread, those steps DO NOT WORK. It is not the channel authentication that is the problem, we can all load the channel. it is the LIVE REGIONAL SPORTS that yield this error when you try to watch anything.
This is getting very frustrating as you folks from Roku keep coming into this discussion and say the same things that all of us have tried over and over.
ROKU EMPLOYEES: PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE THREAD BEFORE YOU POST. It is so irritating to see the same failed responses.
Thank you.
Hi @afmarsh
Thank you for the inquiry!
There could be several reasons why the LIVE REGIONAL SPORTS on NBC App is giving an error code on your Roku device. Here are some common reasons why this might happen:
If none of these solutions work, you can try contacting NBC customer support for further assistance.
We hope it helps!
Warm regards,
Lianna
@AnonymousAt this point, it's clear that Roku is not going to provide customer support for their product. Roku employees have repeatedly not listened to the issues we've put forward in detail. I will be looking at other devices like AppleTV or Chromecast.
For those of you who are actually paying attention (looking at you Roku bots) - I tried plugging my old FireStick into my Roku TV to stream the regional content. It worked but was super duper blurry. Anyone have a suggested fix for that? I can also screenshare off my phone but that's a bit blippy as well. However, both prove that it's not something wrong with our provider login. It's Roku.
@Anonymous
It is obvious you did not read the whole thread.

We hope it helps! IT DOESN'T AND I BET I GET ANOTHER CANNED RESPONSE TO THIS REPLY.
Update - was able to get the Caps game on my FireStick plugged into my Roku TV. Last time I tried it was blurry but not tonight! So a potential solution is to buy a $30 Amazon product.
