@renojim same here. I picked one up just to play with, and see how it compares to the Shield, since they're both running Android with the Google TV interface. It won't stream Dolby TrueHD, but I will bitstream DTS Master Audio. I don't think it offers Atmos, and definitely not DTS:X. The biggest problem for me is not switching HDR on/off as needed. The original OS it was HDR at all times, but the latest update now allows switching it on/off manually from the settings menu.
So just checked and Ministra player is not working again on Roku!

I got rid of Roku and got a fire stick, no issues since.
I added a new device, setup was completed with no issues. I came back to watch a few minutes later and "the channel is no longer in service"
Very frustrating!
From yesterday night - Ministra Player Stopped working with the same error as in September.
I removed the channel and added it again - no use.
Get a firestick and no problems, Roku been going down hill rapid! they are even slowing down your sticks/boxes to force you to upgrade your hardware!

Can you please verify if this is a private channel or was this a channel available previously? Currently, the Ministra player is not available on the Roku Channel Store online. It is possible that the channel provider may have removed the channel. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further for more information about that channel's features and functionality.

@RokuMary-F Why you kee removing the app? dont say you dont as you do! you are just pushing people away onto firestick! i have moved over to firestick and had no issues since!
This has happened now twice in a space of a few months totally not acceptable!
This app has a new name now. It still works for me.
