Hi @CRW4,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for letting us know about the behavior you are seeing with your Roku device. We're happy to help.

Could you tell us what specific channels have this issue? Also, we recommend trying the following steps below:

  1. Check for updates. (Settings > System > System Update > Check Now)
  2. Restart your Roku player. Settings > System > Power > System restart (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).

See more tips and troubleshooting steps for this type of issue here: How to resolve a channel playback issue | Official Roku Support.

Please let us know if this fixes the issue.

All the best,

  • I have all the latest updates, both for Roku and Fox News Channel (2024012601).

Scenario:

1) Watching Fox News

2) Get "Are you still watching?"

3) Press "OK." Fox attempts to restart, extra large (abnormal) Fox logo comes on screen, programming resumes, but Black Box: HTTP CODE: 401 is in the middle of the screen.

4) Very difficult to remove error. Have to go back to home, go to menu "*" for Fox and press restart. What a P.I.T.A.!!!

5) Sometimes Fox channel will not startup after Roku powerup. I have gotten into the habit of always going to the Fox "*" menu and pressing Restart which takes less time than having to go back and do it anyway when it fails to start.

6) I should not have to go through all of this **bleep**!!!

Since when is "starts with a c" + "rap" worthy of "bleep?"
