[Underinvestigation] 14.5 Error playing video on FanDuel

Hey everyone,

We've noticed that some users are encountering this Error playing video on FanDuel after the latest update.

Status update: We're investigating this and working on a fix with the team.

If you’re dealing with this issue, could you help us out by sharing a few details?

  • Your Roku device info (DID and OS build) – found in Settings > System > About)
  • Your Tracker ID (press Home 5 times, then Back 5 times)

While trying to watch Fandual Sports.
Keep getting this error message.

We are having the same issue and error message. 

So far nothing has helped.

Had the same issue as well and still have it this morning. It feels like this is a FanDuel thing but maybe FanDuel with roku.i have tried everything to resolve with no luck.

Fanduel TV app on the Roku device won't allow me to enter into my Fanduel account. I tried clearing cache, doesn't help. The login stops at 2nd authentication page. What am I doing wrong?

Remove and Reinstall the app. Often, that can clear up the problem. Restarting your Roku device before adding the app back can also help make sure everything goes smoothly.

Still not working.

This is the 2nd game I'll miss due to this error. 

 

Restarted TV and Roku.

Was able to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Made no difference.

It is important to note that subscriptions and content, such as Live TV programming on a specific app, are managed and maintained by their respective channel providers. They can guide you through the steps to operate on their app and assist you with any other concerns.

I did contact FanDuel they referred me back to Roku support. I've tried for a day to login to the FD app on Roku. It doesn't work. I've cleared cache, re-enter name and password I've been locked out of my FD account over 2x. I can get on the account using the fire sticks we have, mobile and computer. I believe the issue is with Roku. One thing the Fire stick has is 3 different ways to login.
