Well here's to hoping they get it resolved soon I enjoy this show.
Hi, Community users.
Thanks for keeping us posted.
This has already been raised to our team for further review regarding Episode 5 of Earth Abides on MGM+ through The Roku Channel. We will update this thread as developments and progress occur.
Hurry up and fix it. We are paying for this. Fix it. NOW.
I just cancelled MGM+ over this. This show was the only reason I kept it once From ended. I started to watch episode 6 and had no clue what was going on in the episode recap. What a major hiccup by MGM!
It's been a week since this issue was reported and still no resolution.
**I was able to log in to MGM+ directly with my Roku credentials using Roku as my provider.
This is not acceptable, we should get a credit for this.
Noticed this morning the 2nd half of E5 is missing from Roku Mgm+. I went in through Prime and saw the introductory price, but it then showed as "Included with my Mgm+ membership" so time will tell if I get charged by both.
Strange that the Mgm+ feed to Roku is different from the Mgm+ feed to Prime?
That's an L Roku...I unsubscribed from mgm through roku and started it up on another provider. Do better major L. Making other people fix problems for you, that's insanely lazy.
I'm going to cancel MGM+ on Jan 3 - I'm assuming (hoping) it gets corrected at some point so I can finish the series. The responses from Roku are disappointing. I got MGM+ two month trial on Roku cheap ($0.99 a month). First time buying direct from Roku, and I'm a 10+ year user. But based on this I don't think I will be doing additional subscriptions via Roku.
That unfortunately is the problem with subscribing through any 3rd party. If there's a problem you never know if the problem is with the content provider (in this case MGM) or the 3rd party (in this case Roku). If you subscribe directly with the provider and use their app, then any issues are completely within the realm of the content provider. The provider still might point a finger back at the platform provider (Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, etc.) but they are still the ones responsible for both the app and the content, so it's still their sole responsibility.
