Following these steps I was able to get Fox News playing on my HiSense Roku TV
1) Turn Off, then Unplug TV from wall outlet and wait over a minute, 70 seconds
2) Remove Fox News Channel App via the Remote
3) Log-In online to Roku Account and Add Channel, Validate from E-Mail Roku Sends
4) Navigate to the Fox News App via the Remote, check for any updates then accept the T's&C's and watch
These steps worked where previously loading was stuck at 13% and would not load. Hope this helps.
Fox News not working again. Last Roku device for me
I have tried these steps several times and it still gets stuck at 13%. If I go out of the app and back in several times I can get it to work but sometimes I just give up.
This seems to be the only channel I have this problem with.
Nope, not for me when tried just now.
Hey ROKU...clearly judging by the ALL of the replies to your 'SOLUTION', these steps don't solve anything yet you have not replied! Clearly a bias, deliberate action by you guys! No way that the most watched, highest rated, most accurate news network in the world, happens to have a poorly made app!! If this as CNN or some other 'WOKE' app, you would have it fixed by end of day! FOX NEWS should do a public investigation into this and expose or fix this! THE ONLY APP ON YOUR PLATFORM that has these issues!!!
Just based on the large viewership it would seem like getting this app to run consistently should be a priority.
Last week I had the "wouldn't get past 13%" problem. But now I don't understand why I can't get it to run long-term without disconnecting. At one point is down to 4 hours before it would disconnect. Now its 18 hours.
Anyway to get it to consistently run until I choose to disconnect?
