I have a family member whose Newsmax channel has changed the audio to Spanish. All settings that we could find are set to English. The rest of the Roku is fine. We already tried logging out and deleting and re-adding the app to try to reset with no luck. I saw several posts like this but no clear solutions.

I am having the same problem with my mom’s newsmax. All other apps/shows are in English except newsmax! Any help would be appreciated. We deleted the app and added back on with no success.
Is this the standalone Newsmax channel/app or were they watching Newsmax2 on one of the LiveTV offerings on a channel/app?
I don't see any Audio Settings at all in the Newsmax standalone channel/app and the only audio track available via Roku is English for the standalone and the Roku Channel Newsmax2 feed.(ch190).
I am having the same problem...suddenly tonight. Went thru every option on my Roku/Hisense tv and there is nothing. Dont have an SAP and all audio options are set to English.
Same thing happened to us also. Reset to factory and that didn’t work. I did notice a small number one next to the Newsmax logo after pushing enter. Newsmax is in English while watching the same show on iPad.🤷♀️🤦♀️
This could be part of the problem:

It’s the standalone app…maybe it is a newsmax issue? We are in southern Arizona.
I read about that but there should be an option to keep it in English. We are close to the border in Arizona…maybe that is the issue as well?
Happening on 3 devices in my phoenix home. 2 Roku and a fire stick. It is European Spanish and my wife says it’s not even about what’s playing on Newsmax. This is about the 3rd or 4th time. Has to be someone hacking the Newsmax broadcast on the internet. Isn’t happening on the telephone app.
Switched to Newmax2 and it is in English. Must be something with Newsmax and no one is watching the store to fix it.
