I installed ROKU on Saturday. On Saturday and Sunday I watched CNN. On Monday CNN would not work. It said "video is unavailable right now." I tried everything. I unplugged all the equipment for 10 minutes. That didnt work. I deleted and reactivated my account. That didnt work. I deleted CNN and re installed it. That didnt work. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you

CNN is working on my Youtube TV. There is something wrong with the Roku stick. I am going to return it and check out the fire stick. I am not real happy.
How come I am the only person that posted today that CNN is not working? It is not CNN. It is the ROKU stick that is broken.

Are you able to access these previously, or is this your first time accessing the app on your Roku device? If you haven't tried removing the channel and restarting your Roku device, then reinstall it again to see if that makes any difference.

Yes I deleted the CNN app and re installed it.
Here is the problem ...... ROKU is not giving me an activation code for CNN. I installed the PBS app and ROKU gave me an activation code for PBS. I deleted the PBS app and re installed it and ROKU gave me again the activation code.
The problem I believe is that the ROKU stick is now defective.

This is likely a channel authentication issue you're running into. We highly suggest getting in touch with the channel team and asking for additional assistance about this.

The firmware that is inside the stick is defective. The firmware provides the user with an activation code for the CNN authorization.. Without the activation code CNN will not work.
My neighbor brought over his ROKU stick and plugged into my TV. He deleted the CNN app and re installed it. His ROKU stick provided an activation code.
This is not CNNs fault. It is a defective ROKU stick with bad firmware. I am going to Target and buying a firestick.

I am having the same problem I activate my Roku tv CNN app with my provider everything activates and when I gp to watch the news it gives me the same message video not available try layer
