Thank you!! It worked.
This does work! Thank you so much for the solution. We almost dropped Britbox because of the unreadable captions. Captions in the other channels we subscribe to worked well so we thought it was a glitch with britbox. Did not know caption features could be changed in Roku settings and that default was the problem for britbox.
