My Boomerang and Amazon prime video apps does not work on my Roku 2 player.Prime video says application out of date,I have deleting the app and reinstalling the app, the app still does not work on the boomerang app it does not retrieve the movie ,deleting the app and reinstalling the app does not work.What can be done to fix this. Charles.

After attempting the troubleshooting steps and videos from other channels play fine, contact the channel provider's customer support team to report the issue and get help. Channels on Roku are maintained by the channel developers themselves. In this case, there's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from them.

What model number is it? "Roku 2" is a label used on Roku products introduced from 2011 to 2015. Most of those models are no longer supported by Amazon.
Amazon announced in emails to Roku owners that, effective November 1, 2021, their Prime Video would no longer support the following older Roku model numbers:
Roku 2 HD/XD/XS models 2050X, 2500X, 2720X, 3000X, 3050X, 3100X
Roku LT models 2400X, 2450X, 2700X
Roku SE model 2710X
Roku Streaming Stick models 3400X, 3420X, 3500X
Roku menu path Settings > System > About will list your Roku model and model number.
I have tried everything to get Amazon Prine workign again. Uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, all the methods. Nothing works. I am fed up with ROKU> Netflix works fine on the TV. I have to watch Amazon Prine on my laptop, phone or tablet. It is ROKUs fault and they fail to fix it or offer a comprehensive strategy. I am a stock trader and gonba stell you since they are so negliegnt, their stock is going to crash. Short ROKU stock.
