Amazon & Netflix won't load / Error Code
Hello,
I'm receiving error messages when I launch Amazon & Netflix.
Amazon: This version of the Amazon Instant Video app is no longer supported.
Netflix: Netflix services experienced an internal error. Please try again later.
I'm assuming my Roku model 3050X 2XD is outdated and no longer supported and that's why I can't launch anything, but wanted to check.
Thank you in advance!

Re: Amazon & Netflix won't load / Error Code
Hi, @klodise10
Welcome!
The "3050X" refers to the Roku 2 XD, an older streaming player model that was introduced in 2011 and is no longer supported by Roku.
To continue enjoying your streaming apps, it is recommended that you invest in a new Roku device. You can browse the available options here: Roku Streaming Devices and Players.
Hope this clarifies your concern.
Thanks,
Roku Community Team.

Re: Amazon & Netflix won't load / Error Code
Roku 2XD (3050X) was released in 2011. The last Roku operating system version that the 2XD can run is version 9.1. Roku is currently starting to roll out version 14.5. The 2 XD went out of support with the release of version 9.2 in September 2019.
Amazon Prime dropped support for the 2 XD in November 2021.
Netflix warns it may not be supported on devices produced before 2015.
