Terror Vision streaming channel is now out. Anyone else notice this? Today is 1/1/25 at 11:30 pm CENTRAL time
Hi Community users,
If the channel is no longer accessible on Roku, it usually happens when a content provider decides to remove their channel from the platform.
If you can't find the channel in the Roku Streaming Store anymore, it's likely no longer available.
Private Channels are Gone Too
Heads up, private channels are no longer supported on Roku devices.
Don't Fret, There's Still Plenty to Stream!
Even if your favorite channel is gone, the Roku Channel Store is overflowing with amazing options to keep you entertained. Here's how to find something new:

From the Roku Channel Store description page for Terror Vision, https://channelstore.roku.com/details/aaf6ce58c4db8eb56d2b8317a87b0268/terrorvision-horror it looks like their website link https://www.terrorvision.tv/ is also down. (received an unsafe error so could just be an expired security certificate or the site was removed.).
Still down as of 10:00AM, 1/2/25. I think it is strange that they went off the air on the 1st. I wonder if they pulled the plug, especially since their website is messed up.
For those interested, Hart Fisher cryptically said, his American Horror's Channel is coming back on the air soon. This was posted around the 20th of last month. As of this morning, it's still off the air, so not putting much credence in it as he had told me personally, that it would be back up on air several times last year (2024) which never happened.
Sorry, fat fingered.
Should be "American Horror's Classic Channel". American Horror's channel is on the air but his Classic channel has been off the air for over a year.
Please bring back Terror vision a great app on roku
Terror Vision on Roku still down by 1/25. I am starting to worry. Bring it back, c'mon!
Tried to do a search on "CSS" the supposed owner/developer of this channel and come up with nothing. Their website - which was somewhat available but with warnings of out of date certificates - no longer shows up in google searches. I'm afraid they have pulled the plug and shut everything down.
I can NOT figure out why these companies don't give their customers a heads up that this is coming. Just shut down and go away.
If anyone ever comes across any info on these guys/gals, please comment on this string.
BTW, Hart Fisher's American Horror's Classic channel is still down, even though his Facebook page on this channel stated on 12/19/24 "guess what channel is coming back at you"? Still down Hart......
Yeah, it's probably hard to find CSS given that there are a billion pages about "Cascading Style Sheets".
Many businesses shut down with little or no warning. A local grocery store shut down here and people who happened to walk in that day found everything at half off. People who showed up the next day just found locked doors.
My parents visited their favorite restaurant one day and found the doors locked. No sign or anything. They later heard that the employees found out the same way.
A restaurant here closed in 2020 but its website looked totally normal until the domain expired in 2024. Another store here closed in 2022, but their website is still there and shows "current stock status".
etc.

Hello Roku Moderator,
Thanks for the update. It's a shame so many of these channels are just dropping off your platform.
I would like to take exception to your statement on "private channels no longer being supported" and "Don't Fret, There's Still Plenty to Stream!" Private channels are what made Roku great in the beginning and yes, there are plenty of channels to stream, but with you dropping the private channels, you wind up no different than all the other streaming devices/channels/smart TV's out there. If the channels I watch, 95% of the time, disappear, I for one, won't be using/buying/supporting Roku in the future, I'll just watch the common channels on my smart tv.
Please pass on my comments to those in charge and plead with them to continue supporting the private channels.
Thanks again.
