Re: AcornTV app not refreshing new content

Mary,

We just re-subscribed Roku AcornTV so that we could watch Season 9 of Brokenwood. However, we can only access episode 5 and 6.  What happened to episodes 1,2,3, and 4?

Hi @macunningham74

Welcome to the Roku Community!

We are happy to help getting your Acorn TV app back up and running.

Each channel on the Roku platform is built and maintained by the channel provider itself.

Instead, try the troubleshooting steps listed below:

  1. Remove the channel. Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press the Star button on your Roku remote to open the Options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
  2. Restart your Roku device. Press Home>Settings>System>Power If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step, System Restart.
  3. Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store and add the channel again.

You can also reach Acorn TV support directly here if you have any further questions.

Please keep us posted!

All the best,

Mares

Hi @48chardy,

Thanks for your first post in the Roku Community!

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention about playing season 16 episodes 11 through 24 of the Murdoch series.

The episodes that you are trying to view are not yet available on the Acorn TV stand alone channel. The Acorn TV within The Roku Channel will usually match that of the standalone channel.
Each channel on the Roku platform is built and maintained by the channel provider itself.

If you want to contact the channel provider directly to report the issue and request additional support here.

Keep us posted on what you find out.

Warm regards,

Chel
