Hey there,

Experiencing connectivity issues with your Roku Smart Camera? Here's what to try:

  • Update Firmware: Ensure the Roku Smart Home app and camera firmware are up-to-date.
  • Check Wi-Fi:
    • Verify other devices can connect to the same Wi-Fi network.
    • Check Wi-Fi signal strength. If it's weak (below 3 bars), try moving your router closer to the camera.
  • Power Cycle the Camera: Turn off the breaker to the camera, wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Factory Reset the Camera:
    • Remove the camera from the backplate.
    • Press and hold the setup button until the light turns solid yellow.
    • Release and wait for the light to flash.
    • Re-set up as a new device.

If the issue persists, please:

  • Start a new thread or look for related threads in the Community.

That has nothing to do with my issue with doorbell. I can view camera on tv via camera channel. The camera works fine but the doorbell goes to 3rd step, starting live feed and times out. Message cannot connect to doorbell camera.
