Hi @Alicia1,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
We're glad to assist you with your inquiry. Please be advised that the only way to view the Roku Smart Home camera's video is to sign in to your Roku Smart Home account, where your cameras are linked, on the other person's phone. This way, he or she can start viewing the camera's videos. Once you decide to discontinue his or her access, you'll have to manually sign out of his or her phone.
We hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Eunice
Did I hear that right? The only way someone else can monitor my cameras is by logging into my account? Seriously? So, everyone with access has full control over my security system? That's the least secure thing I've ever heard of and defeats the entire purpose of having security cameras in the first place.
How do I log in to my Roku home app on another smartphone?
@Beccamo23, the same way you do on your own phone. If the phone's owner is signed into his account, he'll have to sign out so that you can sign into your account. There's no other easy way to switch from one account to another.
Hey everyone,
We're glad you asked about sharing access to your Roku Smart Home devices!
Right now, the only way to access a Roku Smart Home device (like a Camera or Doorbell) is to log in to the Roku Smart Home app with your Roku account credentials on each device you want to use.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
Happy Streaming! 💜
Thanks,
The Roku Community Team
