Does anyone know how to run a camera on a hotel wifi or is it possible to run it on open internet? If it isn't can you please tell me if it is possible to run it off my phone?

I appreciate your inquiry. A 2.4 GHz network can be used to access Roku Smart Home devices. Owing to its distance from the router, attempting to connect to a public network or hotel's Wi-Fi will result in an error.

You can test the mobile hotspot if the camera is already set up, but I cannot guarantee it will function.

Note: During the first setup phase, the mobile hotspot won't function.
