Events no longer new vs greyed out when viewed?

Jump to solution

Noticed over the last few weeks that after viewing a motion, it no longer becomes a slightly darker grey indicating it was viewed vs unviewed motions - which is annoying when looking through dozens of motions and then watching some duplicates because I can’t see that I’ve already watched them. A very minor change, very minor annoyance, but annoying nonetheless. Anyone else notice this?

Hi @MelanieMeagan,

Greetings from the Roku Community, and thanks for keeping us posted!

We understand you are having trouble finding the event recording you want to view because there are so many of them. We're happy to help. Detection sensitivity determines whether a big movement, low sensitivity, or small movement, high sensitivity, is needed to trigger a motion event. If you only want an alert when the movement of a large object is detected, lower the sensitivity. If your camera is monitoring a small area, increase the sensitivity.

You can adjust detection sensitivity settings in the Roku Smart Home mobile app for iOS and Android.

  1. Tap Home from the navigation bar.
  2. Select your camera or doorbell.
  3. Tap Settings in the corner.
  4. Tap Detection Settings.
  5. Move the slider(s) to adjust detection sensitivity settings.

When you are done, your changes are saved automatically.

Hope you'll find this info useful. Let us know in case you still have any questions.

Kind regards,
John

This is happening to me as well. And it is incredibly annoying and difficult to get through tons of events. How can it be fixed?
