Subscription for cameras/free trail

I recently bought 2 wireless outdoor cameras… says my free trial is up in 4 days…so I have to have a subscription to view my cameras on the app on my phone? 
sounds dumb typing this but I never had cameras before

You don't need a subscription to view the cameras on your phone or through a Roku device.  Without a subscription you won't get any videos saved to the "cloud" and any notifications will only have a pretty useless still image and no video will be recorded.
