Tv loses its memory when turned off

My roku loses its memory every time I turn it off

tv & player wifi

    What brand is the TV?

    What exactly do you mean by losing memory? What is it exactly doing?

    Have you tried doing a system restart in the settings or unplugging the power for 30 to 60 seconds to clear the cache.

      andyross Maybe that is possible too, but I would think it would restrict things to the point the user would notice?  The posting isn't very clear what exactly the user means.
