Roku Voice remote is unable to control the Roku TV

We have two Hisense Roku TVs side by side. His and hers set up for gaming. The generic roku Remotes the tvs came with were altering both tvs at the same time, this affecting the other person. I purchased two of the voice Remotes because I was told I had to link each remote specifically to the individual tvs and it would stop the issue.

I did this, linked the Remotes. L remote is only linked to to the left TV and R only to the right. It worked amazingly the first day. R could navigate through Netflix and not affect the other TV. R would only turn on and off the right TV we ran through all the different tests with both Remotes.

Next morning it's back to the same issue as the generic Remotes. L is used to turn on left TV and right TV turns off. Or on. R is used to navigate to Netflix and then left TV navigated to Netflix as well. I have gone into the remote TV settings and only the one remote is still connected to the individual tvs. But we are again fighting the remote issue.

Suggestions? Please. We do not have the capability of moving the tvs to other rooms or different parts of the living room. Tvs can't be moved. And I don't see a way to block the receivers from the other remote either.

Are you sure one of you might have picked up the simple Roku IR remote? Take the batteries out of the original remotes and get them out of that room for good. Wifi remotes have microphone button, where an IR remote  has a crescent moon key for sleep timer.

We already tossed those remotes out after removing the batteries. Then we paired the two remote one at a time. Making sure the other device was off. And then immediately labeled the remote so we couldn't mix them up. We have also tried removing the batteries. And popping them back in.

        Hey Daedress

After pairing the two remotes one at a time and ensuring the other device was off, label them to avoid mix-ups. Does this resolve the issue with your Roku remote?

        Looking forward to your reply

The voice remotes are a combination IR and RF remote.  IR remotes will control anything within the line of sight.  RF remotes have to be paired.  I think the remote acts as an IR remote until it reconnects to the TV via RF.  Try pressing Home a couple of times before you press the Power button to get it to reestablish its connection.  You may also have to enable Fast TV Start under Settings->System->Power.
