Roku remote can't turn off Roku after update

After an update yesterday, my power button on my Roku remote just takes me to the home screen, it no longer powers off my Roku and projector. It was working perfectly for about a year.

My device is a Roku Streambar - 9102R

Software version is 15.0.4  Build: 5534

I have restarted the Roku via the menu option and powered it off manually by unplugging it from the wall. As a last resort, I did a factory reset and the problem still persists. 

If I'm watching a video (Youtube, Pluto, Hulu, whatever), or in any menu, and I press the power button, I'm immediately taken to the home screen. If I press the power while already on the home screen, nothing happens. I do notice that the white LED (on the back of the Streambar) will turn on/off with each push of the power button.

Anyone else have this issue? I assume it has to be an issue with the latest update since it was working fine a few hours before.
