Roku remote affecting other Roku devices

I would like to have two Roku devices in the same room however I do not want the remotes to affect the tv they are not paired to. Does anyone know if this is possible? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It sounds like your two Roku devices are using the simple IR remote. There is no way to use IR remotes for same brand devices within visual sight of each other. IR is not "paired" to a device. It simply works, which is why one remote is controlling both.

With Roku devices there is an option. You can use a Voice remote on one of the devices, and use the IR on the other. For the device that is using the Voice remote, cover the IR receiver window so it can't see the IR signal. Voice remotes use a WiFi Direct signal and is paired to the device. If you want to ensure both devices never respond to a stray IR signal, then buy a voice remote for both devices, and pair one remote to each device. They will not interact even being in the same room.
