Hi Riamie. Hope im not bothering you but it has been 2 months and no news about this issue? Have the Roku developers been looking into this?
Again it’s very annoying to use apps like Spotify or YouTube and the emoji‘s aren’t properly displayed… It’s a serious quality of life issue. Please prioritize this and flag it with the team again.

Your reply „This is by design“ why did the team let me wait around for months, just to inform me about this? Also how is this preference of Roku an advantage over any other streaming box such as NVIDIA Shield or Apple TV who show emojis and italicized font without issues on all apps.
This is not an advantage but a confusing disadvantage for the user. Please kindly ask the developers to think it over and fix it.
