Remote won't pair

I did a factory reset of my Roku Premiere (Model 3920X)--but don't have the remote to re-set it up. My Roku app on my phone (obviously) doesn't "see" the "new" device either.

I borrowed another Roku Remote (Model RC-BR1)--but can't get it to pair with the reset device, even after pressing/holding the Home/Back buttons (light just blinks white after 15/20 seconds).

Any suggestions on how to get the Roku Premiere connected to Wifi, etc. and get it set up?

cwcwcw , are you saying you're holding the Home and Back buttons for 15 to 20 seconds?  That's too long.  The light should start flashing after about 5 seconds, then release the buttons.  Connect the power to the Roku device while the light on the remote is flashing and it should boot and pair with the remote.

    Hello cwcwcw

We get that you are having trouble pairing your Roku Voice Remote 2nd edition to your Roku Premiere. Have you tried restarting your Roku Premiere by unplugging it from the power source and from the TV? Let's try that and repeat the steps on how to pair your Roku remote to this device.

I believe the phone app connects via Bluetooth or WiFi and that setup is after the initial setup so the app can't be used to setup Roku. On the borrowed remote, remove the battery cover, there may be a sync button (un labeled). If so try holding that down for awhile and see if it syncs the remove. You can also purchase a replacement remote for you model.
