Can't Connect to Wifi After Factory Reset

I lost connection earlier today and followed all of the recommended steps. I reset my router and my Roku express several times and nothing worked. I factory reset my device and it is still not working. Can someone help me with the next steps? The wifi is working on my phone, xbox, and laptop but not my Roku.

    Hey there! Diamond9696

To connect your Roku device to your Wifi, try these steps:

    • Restart your Roku: Go to Settings > System > Power > System Restart
    • Restart your router and modem: Unplug your router/modem (or gateway), wait 10 seconds, then plug them back in and let them restart.
    • Reset the network connection: Press Home > Settings> Advanced system settings >  Network connection reset> Reset connection.

For more info, click here. Let us know if that works!

    Hi DGSmith3,

    Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thanks for letting us know about this issue you had with the Roku Express. After resetting the device, it will not connect to your Wi-Fi again. We're happy to investigate further. Can you please provide the following details below?

    • How far is your Roku device from your network router?
    • Are you getting any error messages or codes?
    • Did we recently make any changes to your network or network provider?
    • Do you have cellular data so we can try connecting your device to your hotspot?

In the meantime, you may check if an incorrect network password was entered, the Wi-Fi signal at the Roku's location is weak, router issues (like needing a restart), problems with the Roku's internal Wi-Fi component, or a network is not compatible with the Roku device; it's often best to double-check your network details and ensure the Roku is positioned close enough to your router for a strong signal.

We would recommend trying to see if that resolves your issue. Please keep us posted.

    Best regards,
    John

I’ve got the same problem. The wifi signal is excellent. All of my other devices connect fine and the password is correct. I’ve tried resetting the router and the Roku by turning the power off at the outlet and also using the reset button on the back of the tv. Everything was working fine before the factory reset. I had to reset to change the Roku account details because I purchased the tv second hand.

Same. Haven’t had my tv in two weeks. Have done a tv and router reset and nothing. It’s in the next room from the router and all other Roku tvs works fine. Just this one won’t

Roku is having technical issues apparently. Any idea when this outage will be fixed?
