Alexa is not connecting to the Roku TV
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to report an issue I am experiencing with connecting my Roku TV to Amazon Alexa. Despite following all the recommended steps and troubleshooting procedures, Alexa is unable to discover my Roku TV.
Here is what I have done so far:
- I have successfully enabled the Roku skill in the Alexa app.
- I have linked my Roku account and granted the necessary permissions.
- I have tried searching for devices multiple times in the Alexa app, but my Roku TV does not appear in the list.
- I have disabled and re-enabled the Roku skill several times.
- I have restarted both my Roku TV and Alexa-enabled device multiple times.
- I have verified that “Fast TV Start” is enabled on my Roku TV.
- My Roku TV and Alexa device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Despite these efforts, Alexa continues to be unable to detect my Roku TV.
Please advise on how this issue can be resolved, or if there is a known issue currently affecting Alexa integration with Roku TVs. I would appreciate any further steps you can provide or a timeline for when this functionality will be restored if it’s a system-wide issue.
