Audyssey sound correction window does not appear on Roku TV screen

I bought and installed a 2025 Roku Pro Series 75-inch TV. I have a Denon home theater receiver AVR-X6400H. The speaker configuration for the room is 7.1. I get the TV signal from a T-Mobile wireless modem in the same room.

I get a good picture and surround sound with this setup. However, I cannot configure the Audyssey room correction for better sound, because I cannot see the Audyssey setup screen on the home screen of my Roku TV. I have tried going to various screens in the Roku TV Settings, but none display the Audyssey setup window.

In the past when I wanted to configure Audyssey room sound correction, I would turn on whatever TV I was using at the time, and plug the setup microphone into the Denon Setup Mic input. The Audyssey setup window appeared on my TV.

For my first attempt with the Roku TV, the only cable connection was an HDMI from the ARC OUT on the Denon to the HDMI 4 ARC on the Roku TV. Then I added an Optical OUT from the Denon to Optical IN on the Roku TV. That didn’t work, probably because the optical cable is used for audio, not video.

Do I need to run another HDMI or Ethernet connection? If so, then how do I do it? I don't see an option on the Roku TV to switch input sources. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

    Hey there! pompanovice

We've checked your concern, and it sounds like this issue might be caused by not setting up the Denon receiver correctly. Also, if you’ve already got everything running through HDMI ARC, there's no need to use the optical cable. For advanced troubleshooting, we would highly suggest reaching out directly to Denon support for help.
