No Audio on Roku Streambar SE

I have connected the Streambar SE to with a Samsung hdtv. I do not get sound from any of the Apps on the TV, including Over The Air  broadcasts. The Roku works fine. It is connected to the ARC HDMI port I had to change the tv to use Bitstream in order that the Roku did not cut off the TV speakers. Before I did that, whenever the Roku had the power connected, there was NO audio at all from the TV. Removing the ower cord from the Roku allowed the TV to perform normally.

I am at my wits end as to how to get the TV and it's apps to use the soundbar.Any help would be appreciated

      Not helpful and not a solution. I have already done all that.  I indicated that the Roku device is working normally other than the audio problem so why would you suggest a network connection problem?

        Could you provide more specific details about the issue with your Roku Streambar?

        • When did you start noticing this issue?
        • Any recent software update before this happened?
        • Have you tested plugging the Streambar into different TVs to see if the audio issue persists?
