Use Roku wireless speaker
I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I have a Roku smart TV in my bedroom. I live alone and hard of hearing so turning up the volume is not a problem. But my daughter will be moving back in and I don't want to have my volume so loud it disrupt her. I'd like a wireless speaker i can place on my night stand and turn volume on TV down yet listen through the speakers. Any suggestions?Solved25Views2likes1CommentSuddenly no sound from soundbar, HDMI ARC and CEC stopped working
I have given up hope Roku will even get this fixed. I've had no luck in getting my TV/Soundbar/Roku working with the Roku Ultra LT (4801RW) installed. It's been about 2.5 years waiting and hoping it would eventually work with the latest update, but no go. When I have the LT installed and updated to the latest Firmware I don't get any sound out of my soundbar (Yamaha) which is connected through an HDMI Arc port on the TV. Fortunately, when I install my older Roku Ultra (4670X), the TV/Soundbar/Roku all work. So I'll just keep that installed and use the Roku Ultra LT on another TV.54Views0likes2CommentsSound glitches after some time - high/low and distorted
It seems to be an older thread and I can't reply. I am having the same problem as https://community.roku.com/t5/Discussions/Roku-Ultra-Volume-glitch-after-some-time-Volume-glitched-high-or-low-and-distorted/td-p/867899 I can see the user reports it was not solved. I have this problem on both of my Roku ultras on an LG TV with earc soundbar and a Samsung TV using the built in speakers and in various apps - Netflix, Hulu, peacock, max, etc. So it's not the TV, it's not the app, the Rokus are rebooted and fully updated. Unfortunately as this other poster wrote it is random - it might happen after a few minutes it might not happen at all it might happen after watching for a few hours. The only fix I've found is to hit back to stop whatever is playing and resume it. I had a thought last night while trying to Google this problem and not finding much other than the post above. Could it be a bug in the Roku sound leveling feature? I absolutely have that turned on both my TV's because I feel like everything is practically unwatchable without it. I will try watching with it off to see if it repeats but again unfortunately it is not intentionally repeatable. I was wondering if anyone else has thought about this or if Roku can consider reviewing the sound leveling function for problems? edit: fixed typo4.2KViews5likes32CommentsStreambar Pro - Discontinued?
The Streambar Pro appears with "Out of Stock". Is the product discontinued? Will a replacement/upgrade be available soon? The Streambar appears to be a downgrade, so I don't want to purchase that product. Any updates or information is appreciated.Solved1.4KViews2likes5CommentsDo you have a replacement for the Soundbar/Streambar Pro
Should be answers to this by now, but scanning here , I don't see one. Roku please advise if there are replacements coming for either of these two. The Streambar SE , is nice but not equivalent to the Soundbar or Streambar Pro. Please advise.Solved60Views0likes1CommentRoku soundbar not playing sound for certain things
I have a Roku streambar and two wireless Roku speakers. Tv is Roku plus series 4k tv. For Commercials and movies the soundbar will play sound. For certain tv shows only the speakers will play sound, and the soundbar doesn’t play sound at all. I want the sound bar and speakers to work simultaneously, or at least have the soundbar play sound and the speakers do effects like it does in movies. It seems like this only happens for certain things. The sounds does have its own dashboard because it was hooked up to different tv that wasn’t a Roku tv. I don’t use that dashboard I only use the Roku tv dashboard. Does the soundbar need to be reset. I think this might be the issue but not sure. Any setting suggestions would be helpful. I tried a few things but nothing has helped.Solved780Views0likes11Comments
