xfinity stream won't let me log in

I have 3 different Roku devices, a Roku TV and two sticks. My cable provider is Xfinity, and for almost a year the xfinity stream app worked flawlessly on all devices. i came back from a 2 week vacat...

    As this is an authentication issue with the app, it is within Xfinity's control, and the best people who can help resolve this are their support team.

     At this time, we would recommend reaching out to them for further checking and troubleshooting.

Hey @ Sweetielumpkins,

Nice try, but i have a Fire TV stick. I unplugged the roku and plugged in the fire stick and voila i can get into the Xfinity stream app on the fire stick. So the problem is on Roku's end, I deduce. i like the roku app better and i am stuck with the roku TV, however, so how can i fix your issue?

    Can you share the error messages that you encounter when trying to log in to Xfinity via the Roku device?

      Thank you for your response. I do not get an error message. as i stated, it is an endless log-in loop. the xfinity app in Roku gives me the code and on my computer I enter it into xfinity.com/authorize. My computer says Success!  You should see your screen update shortly! 

      However, the app goes back to the sign-in page. as I said, i have tried every solution suggested including re-installing the app, turning the roku app on and off, resetting roku to factory settings, resetting the network, etc.

      Since the xfinity app worked just fine until a couple of weeks ago, and works when i use a fire stick, i deduce that this is a Roku problem. 

      Unfortunately, my Roku TV is an expensive table decoration right now.

    Xfinitycrone​ I am having this same issue on two different Roku devices.  I've been watching Xfinity Stream with zero issues and now I can't watch anything at all.

    I've been going round and round with Xfinity for at least a week now and they can't figure it out. 

    I'm not exactly sure when the issues started - the only thing that changed is that I had to get a new cable modem after a lightning strike in my neighborhood fried mine.

    I keep getting error messages that I'm not connected to my home wifi when I most definitely am.  

    Hopefully someone can figure this out.
