Who knows. I tend to think it is a server issue at Fox's end. Maybe too many Roku users confuse it?

11/14/2024 My mother reports this same issue has been happening all the time when she streams Fox News on the Roku. The channel fails to load from within the Spectrum app. And it also fails to load from the freestanding Roku app, as well. This happens on 2 different TVs, she says. One has a 4k Roku Express and the other has a 4K Roku Stick. Both Roku players aren't over 2 years old. The only difference is the channel / app locks up with a spinning pinwheel at 26% instead of 13%. I find it interesting that 26 is exactly double 13. Surely there is a conspiracy afoot here. 🤣 LOL! I trust 26% instead of 13% this indicates Fox programmers are making some slow progress fixing their strange issue. Fox News is a real crock, so I could not care less whether or not runs. But she needs her daily infusion of bull excrement and conspiracy theories and Republican worship. 🙄

And if you had fully read those threads, you would know Roku is not responsible for bugs in 3rd party apps. Fox News wrote it and runs the servers. It's up to them to fix it.

Thanks for the info and I will try to contact Fox directly but Roku would probably have a better chance of getting their attention than I would. They are an app based company. Not responsible = passing the buck.

We expect you, the company of Roku, to resolve this issue for your members. We don't care if it's the company with the app. We pay you excellent money to stream the stations we want. If they don't work, you, your company, Roku, should contact the company in question and get with their development dept. and figure out what the heck is going on.
Quit passing the ball. You all know that Fox News won't contact anybody just like you guys won't. This is probably the last Roku of anything I'll ever buy. Your support system sucks and this answer sucks too.
So sick of companies pass the buck and blaming someone else. Get with it, get with them and fix this issue. It's been going on for years!
So disappointed in your company.

ROKU has a 'BIAS' against Fox News! The streaming APP works fine for short periods then constantly hangs.
ROKU stated they fixed the problem last month...looks like they unfixed it prior to the election.
Sounds like the FEMA issue...if you see a TRUMP sign don't give them any assistance!

Did you get a fix? I am having the same issue.....

Roku itself is free to use. As far as I know, the Fox News app is a TV Everywhere app that requires a cable/satellite/Live Streaming TV subscription where it is part of your channel package. Roku is not involved in that.
Does this also affect Fox Nation? And even so, Roku is just a middleman, like Amazon, Apple, Google, who take their cut and pass it on to the service.

Have you seen other posts from people saying that they never have issues when streaming from a Roku TV? It is only only a Roku stick or device? So, if it's a Fox news app issue, why wouldn't it happen on all TVs? Also, if the code wasn't written correctly for Roku, why wouldn't the app just not work at all or wouldn't there be errors daily? This happens in a pattern. Explain that please.
