Same - what internet service provider?
I have two Roku TVs, and beginning Friday neither of them could load the Peacock channel. The message is the same - Peacock is currently unavailable. All my non-Roku devices continued to function normally, and my Roku could load all other apps normally. I've tried it all, factory resets, clearing the cache, updating the tv & app, power cycling. I spoke with Roku & Peacock support - neither of them could figure it out and escalated the issue, no update yet.
The one thing that made a difference - if I changed from my usual Wifi (fIOS) to a personal hotspot, suddenly Peacock loaded. Not a viable workflow, of course.
This seems like clearly an infrastructure problem between Roku & Peacock.

And without doing a thing, it now works.
Hmmmm, of course they won't comment here but it seems someone fixed something.

jg4080 Still not working on my end. I get a sign-in screen, but it never opens after I login. I only see bouncing rainbow dots.

Thanks for this suggestion. I have had issues with Peacock and Hulu playback for the last few days and swapping to the hotspot on my phone instantly fixed the issue. So seems like something networking related.
Previously I had tried steps like rebooting, reinstalling app, etc
Same issue here on multiple TVs. We have tried all recommended options (restart/uninstall/network reset) to no avail. Browser player works fine.

Same here on all 3 of my Roku’s. It works just fine on my iPhone connected to the same WiFi so it must be the Peacock Roku app.

Same problem here on two Roku TVs One a TCL the other a Vizio with a Roku stick. Says my version of the app is current. Streaming is getting to be a PIA and cable is looking better...except for the price gouging. Over 24 hour like this here.

Yup - me too! Peacock works on my computer and my ipad-- but not Roku I have been in touch with them 3 times-- I restarted devices, updates systems, and recently pressed the home button 5 times then the back button 5 times and an "issue id" number comes up on the screen which I emailed and sent to the chat-- they then said that someone would email information on what to do-- it has been 24 hrs nothing-- so frustrating...

Just tried again and this is what they said....
As for this, since the issue still persists after all the troubleshooting steps, please contact the channel directly for further assistance and tell them to restart their channel app on Roku devices.Gleford8:49 pmThe only authority that Roku has is to collect your payment for your subscription to Peacock TV.- AntiquitätBuchReel Rookie
I contacted Peacock earlier today and got nowhere with them. I received an email that they are investigating the root cause.

Same, I did all of the troubleshooting and after speaking with Roku I was told to give it 30-50 and “it will be back.” It had not been working for 36+ hours. When I pushed back, I was told to not worry and that someone would contact me by email. I haven’t received an email.

Me too. 😞

Same here... even deleted and re-added the app. Pretty annoying that Roku doesn't help...

I thought I was the only one works fine on my android but once I try my roku tv nothing.

The fact that they have that screen tells me they know they have a problem but really don't care Secondly, Roku and Peacock both recommend deleting the app but when I hit eh * button, delte is not an option.

I have been having this problem since Friday. Peacock works at my mother in laws house (it's under my name and on my PC but not on the two televisions in my house. I spent hours emailing Peacock and dealt with a puppet reading a book or maybe AI. I have done everything except buy new Roku devices.

Peacock (subscribed directly with Peacock, not through Roku) is working fine for me.
When problems are confined to a particular channel, it may be that the channel did not install correctly, has received a faulty update, or has subsequently gotten corrupted. A reinstall of the channel to assure you have a good copy of its latest version may fix the problem, so that is the first thing I would try.
Remove/reinstall procedure:- Highlight channel on home screen.
- Press * key on the Roku remote and choose Remove channel option.
[Note: If this channel is one for which you have a paid subscription through Roku, there will be a "Manage subscription" option instead of a "Remove channel" option. You can click this and follow the prompts to cancel your subscription and prevent any more payments, but your subscription and channel access will continue until your subscription period runs out. Due to a programming decision by Roku, you will not be able to remove the channel app via the Roku interface until the subscription period runs out.
Instead, try removing the channel via the official Roku remote app on an Android/iOS phone/tablet connected to one of the Rokus on your account. At the bottom of the first screen, click Search and do a search for the installed channel name. On the resulting screen you should get options to Launch the channel on your Roku, or Remove the channel. I've never tried to remove a subscribed-thru-Roku channel (I haven't had one for years) but it's been reported this works even while the subscription is still active.]
This will remove the channel from your Roku account, and thus from ALL Rokus linked to that same Roku account. - IMPORTANT- IF YOU SKIP THIS STEP YOU MAY NOT GET A CLEAN RE-INSTALL:
Restart the Roku to clear its memory. Depending on your Roku model you'll find the System restart option under Settings > System > Power or if you have no Power option, under Settings > System. Repeat on any additional Rokus linked to this Roku account.
[Note: For Roku TVs (i.e. ones with Roku capability built in) with "Fast TV start" enabled, turning the TV off/on just puts it in/out of a standby state and does not give you a full restart. Use the menu options listed above.] - Reinstall the channel to your Roku account via the Roku Home page Streaming Channels menu option. This will install the channel on all Rokus linked to this Roku account.
Notes:
- The channel will be added to the END of each Roku's channel grid.
- The Roku on which you performed the reinstall should get the installation immediately. Other Rokus linked to this Roku account may not get the channel until their next automatic update check. You can force an immediate update on any unit via Settings > System > System update.
- If channel requires a login, you may need to log in anew.
If the problem persists at this point, it typically means the current version of the channel app has a problem that must be addressed by the channel itself as they are the ones that create the Roku-compatible version of their app and provide it to Roku.

I've done all of these trouble shooting items and it still doesn't work consistently. I'm sporadically getting this "Unavailable" screen still when trying to open the app.
- Highlight channel on home screen.
