[Solved] Disney+ Crashing to Home Screen

Hey everyone,

Some users were recently having trouble logging into the Disney+ app on Roku devices.

Status Update (6/20): We believe the issue has been resolved.

  • So about two days ago, I was able to access Disney+ on my Roku TV and now I can no longer access it. It never even loads up, starts to load and then goes Right  back to the main screen. I’ve done all the usual tricks turning TV off, restarting it, deleting the app reinstalling it and it doesn’t seem to work. I have even unplugged the TV and WiFi router and reset both. Nothing has resolved the issue. Everything else works normally though. Please help.

      Thanks for flagging this issue!

      I understand that you're experiencing difficulties with Disney+. Is this issue also happening with other apps or specific to a particular show?

      In the meantime, please try to update the Disney+ app.

        The issue is only with Disney +. All other streaming apps appear to be working.

        I tried updating Disney +, I have tried deleting it and reinstalling it. I have power cycled the TV and my WiFi router. None of those have fixed the issue. 

        Please let me know what else I can try to resolve this issue.

      We are having the same issue. Kicks right back to home screen. Uninstalled app, restart, and reinstalled doesn't help. It works on my TCL running roku but not on my roku tv

        Same here, uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled, restarted. Always crashes back to home screen before even showing the profile chooser.
